South Australia’s History Festival

South Australia’s History Festival is an annual statewide event exploring South Australia’s history.

Held throughout May each year, the History Festival explores the state’s places and spaces, stories, collections and ideas that make us who we are.

The program is now live and searchable by region. I encourage you to check out the events in your area: there may be something new to learn and I guarantee your local community groups will be very glad of your interest.

The Historic Cummins House are holding a number of open days - enjoy a guided tour and Devonshire tea at Historic Cummins House, the elegant gentleman’s residence and home of Sir John and Lady Elizabeth Morphett, built in 1842. Enjoy the gift shop, large garden and plant sales.

More details of the Cummins House event can be found here: https://festival.history.sa.gov.au/events/historic-cummins-house-open-days/
